I love senior sessions. For many years, they have been one of my favorites! Getting to photograph Margot, senior class of 2019, was no exception. Margot is one of the most amazing young women I have met in a long time. She is incredibly driven, intelligent, and kind. She also has a sense of humor, which is where I love to make connections! I was also very impressed with her relationship with her mom. All too often, by the time a student is in high school, they want to do their own thing, and can drift away from that sweet relationship with their parents. From what I saw, Margot has an awesome relationship with her mom and family. During her sessions, I gave her the option of having her mom tag along or not. She opted for Mom to be there! We all had a blast.
Thank you to Margot, and mom Wendy for allowing me into your lives and to be able to capture this sweet moment in time.
As you all can see, we did two sessions for Margot, which is commonly done with seniors. From the summer/fall before graduation, to springtime, much can happen, and lots of change occurs, so it is wonderful to capture both ends of the senior year. You will also notice a range of looks in her images, from casual to formal and whimsical to sporty.
Keep in mind that August and September are prime time for senior sessions, as most yearbooks require images to be submitted in October!
