Just about everyone is nervous about having a boudoir portrait session done! Boudoir sessions are empowering, fun, and really help you see yourself in a different light! We’ll focus on who you are and what makes you special…let’s have a conversation about it!
Boudoir sessions are special, so we should get to know each other a bit.
Who is your photographer?
Yes, my name is pronounced Cindy. If you are curious about me, and my name (many are), I can tell you about my funky name spelling when we meet, if you like.
Having been a professional photographer for over 20 years, yet I have had a camera in hand since I was about 5 years old. I have always loved capturing moments and life’s beauty. I am also a mom to five children (ages 18 months to almost 23!), ( moms are so hard on themselves, I get it…which can make it even more intimidating to do this type of session – but do not worry, I know the tricks to make you look and feel amazing!)
I am married to husband upgrade 2.0, and loving life more and more as I get older. We had our little girl just before my 45th birthday!
I love everything green, dragonflies, my family, and music makes me feel alive.
Over the years, I have learned that photographing women is my favorite type of photography work.
Knowing how nervous you may be to have boudoir portraits done, I am going to be brave and offer to share some of my own pictures with you! I’ve had several sessions over the years, so you will notice my appearance changes a fair amount. I have not always been the size I am now, but I have absolutely learned that whatever size and shape you are now, NOW is when you should capture this unique moment of beauty in your life. So many women want to wait until they are what they think is the perfect size to have their portraits done. I’m so thankful some friends convinced me not to wait — now I love the pictures tracking the course of my life! I do ask that you write to me directly to request the password for my boudoir images. My kids would probably rather not have pictures of mom floating around the internet…
When you write, tell me a little bit about yourself! Here are some questions to get you started:
– Is this for yourself, or a gift for someone else? Are you celebrating a milestone in life?
– Do you have a certain time frame you would like to have your session done by, and the images ready and back to you?
– Is this for a wedding or other special event, or holiday?
– Do you want to have a single session for yourself, or are you getting friends together and having this as part of a girls’ night out?
– Most sessions take place in my south Everett Studio, however, if you want yours done in home or in a hotel room, please let me know that up front!
Lovely Sessions: healing for survivors.
Lovely sessions are special boudoir sessions for women who have moved beyond a bullying or abusive situation, and wish to make this form of photography a part of their healing. Even if you think you might not be quite ready, drop me a note — you control the entire process.
